What’s My Size?
(transcribed from video)
The question I get asked most often (after “do you like your name?”), is, “What’s my size?” I dedicated a whole page to it on the website because I get it: size is tricky. Women’s sizes are already a little bit challenging because they don’t correspond to any specific measurement and when I started doing this I wanted to make a size that would make sense and of course it’s all confusing. The most useful size information that you can have on hand when buying a pocket belt is an actual measurement.
The Jackie belt was designed to fit at the smallest part of your waist so if you measure right around that area you can use the corresponding size chart to find out what size you are.
Of course you can also wear your Jackie belt lower down on your hips which feels fantastic when you feel like maybe you have a little bit of a Venus belly - it can really help suck you in. Feels great on the lower back too. So you would just take the measurement where you want to wear it and use the size chart accordingly.
The Jackie corset has a different sizing: small, medium and large. Because it’s adjustable it’s easy to wear on your waist or on your hips without changing sizes. The Jackie corset is also very strong so if you want to wear a slightly smaller size and really nip in your waist like an actual corset, that’s an option too.
The Meredith belt was designed to sit more comfortably on your waist, lower waist or hips for a more casual vibe. Again, you just measure the part of your body where you would like your belt to sit and then use the size chart to find out what which belt you should buy.
I know those measurements are not always easy to take and can be uncomfortable but just grab a tape measure and measure the part of your body where you want your belt to sit that’s gonna be your most accurate measurement. But if you’re not comfortable with that (or don’t have tape measure handy) that’s OK! We can work around it. If you know your jean size or the size you usually wear, then you can use the corresponding size charts on the web site and find it that way. If you’re still not sure or you just don’t get it, we do offer free returns and if it’s too big or too small then you can just exchange it for another size. I want you to be happy I want you to be comfortable. I don’t want you to feel too big or too small for any reason so try it and we will find something that works. This is the big bonus about using a small company like mine is that we will bend over backwards to make sure that you’re happy. So give us a try!
